I did Marley twist for the first time this past December. I was in the same boat as you. I do not know a thing about fake hair. I had to bring people with me to get the hair. i loved my hair in a high bun. I hated the Marley hair. I did some research and found that most people that love the twist and wear them down, use hair by ultra. I’m really thinking about trying again. My hair looked just like your hair.
I feel you…I’m so glad that the lady at the BBS was so helpful. I wasn’t a fan of the marley hair either…it was easy to use but other than that I didn’t like it. I will have to check out that brand…another that was recommended was the Spring Twist by EON, you may want to check that out too. Thanks so much for the tip! =0)
I think my previous comment got swallowed. anyway i was saying get them done at a braiding salon next time coz the hair is separated and fluffed a certain way to give the twists a polished finish they are also called kinky twists.
I opted to do the twist at home to save time and money but thx so much for the tip, I will keep that in mind.
