Christmas is just two days away! Can you believe it?!?! This year has flown by, before you know it we’ll be ringing in the New Year and making resolutions.
Sometimes I wish I could just push the pause button and give myself a second or two to take it all in. Christmas is such an exciting time of year! I absolutely love it. So of course this week’s MANICure is Christmas inspired.
What are you rocking on your nails this MANICure Monday? Are you rocking a holiday inspired mani? What do you love about the holiday season?
Whew! It’s December already and the countdown to Christmas and New Year’s is in full effect! Can you believe it?
Well, this week’s mani is inspired by Black Friday, which I’m aware was last week…better late than never, right? I had every intention of polishing my nails on Thanksgiving eve but totally lost all track of time. I ended up putting off until I just didn’t feel like doing it at all. *sigh* But despite my busted nails I did enjoy myself. I had an awesome Thanksgiving break! It’s always a good time when you spend it with family and friends.

Here are few outtakes from Black Friday…the inspiration behind this week’s mani.
What are you rocking on your nails this week? Did you go out on Black Friday?
I was out-of-town this past weekend so I missed doing my “regular” MANICure Monday post. I polished my nails on Friday (not my normal self-mani day) and my nails ended up looking a mess by Sunday sooooo….I’ve been dying to trying out the new Nabi Cosmetics nail polish in Pastel Green that I posted about here and I decided to give myself a mid-week mani. Check it out…I think I’m in love with this color.

NYC in Lexington Yellow; China Glaze in Surreal Appeal; Spoiled by WnW in Correction Tape and my trusty dotting tool.
I must say that I am quite impressed with the Nabi Cosmetics Nail Polish. Not only do I love the color but the polish is thick and glides on great. This is definitely one of my favorite from the March My Shade of Brown Pillow Box.
WooHoo! I’m back as promised! Like I mentioned is yesterday’s post, I really missed y’all and it feels good to get back to blogging. And I even had a chance to give myself a little mani this weekend.
Earlier this week while on Pinterest (which I hope your following me), I came across a pin that mentioned using the Gelous Advanced Nail Gel Coat to help prolong your at home mani. Well I didn’t waste any time, I headed to Sally Beauty on Saturday and picked some up. I’ve been having a little Spring Fever lately so I had the hardest time deciding what shade to put on my nails….I wanted something bright but too out there (if you know what I mean). Anywho, I ended up chosing a purple hue by Wet’n Wild, nothing fancy and of course I used the Gelous as my top coat.

If you look closely you will see where I smudged my nails…that’s what happens when you polish them before bed.

Well the verdict is still out on the Gelous but I will mention that it takes forever to dry. So make sure you have time if you decide to give it a try. And if you want to see more Manicure Monday looks, check out my girl MiMi of Lipgloss & Binky, this week’s host of Just Another NANICure Monday.
Well it has been a minute since I did a MANICure Monday post…I haven’t really had the time to polish my nails and I haven’t been feeling too creative either. But I had a little extra time on my hands last night plus the Nakamichi Nail Foil Strips that I were in this months My Shade of Brown Pillow Box that I posted about here, so I decided to treat my self to a little mani. Check it out….

Excuse my middle finger, it was late and didn’t get a chance to clean it up as much as I would like. I’ll be doing a review of the Nakamichi Nail Foil Strips soon.
First let me say thank you for the overwhelming amount of support that I have received over on Facebook, here and other social networks. I recently hit 400+ likes on Facebook and have decided to do a giveaway of a few of my favorite things!
