This week’s mani is special because the polish was gifted to my by a fellow vlogger, SweetOne1299. A few weeks ago, she posted pictures on Instagram of several great clearance cosmetic finds she scored from her local Walgreens. So I ran to my local Walgreens, within minutes of her post (it’s just that serious) and found the nothing! But SweetOne1299 came to my rescue…lol! She sent me a box of goodies! All I can say is her name definitely fits her…

I know it’s late but I couldn’t let the weekend begin without letting y’all know about the Free Beauty Events that may be happening in your area. If you have been following this blog, you are more than familiar with FBE and how much I love it. Have you heard about Free Beauty Events? If you’ve been following The Savvy Housewife for a while then I’m sure you’ve seen my previous post but if you are new then let me tell you all about Free Beauty Events.

First let me say, I love freebies, samples and giveaways! And Free Beauty Events offers all of that and more. Their site provides a listing of all kinds of free events; like makeovers, gift with purchase, spa open houses and sampling events offered by local retailers/salons. If you head over to Free Beauty Events right now, you can enter your zip code and find out about all of the free beauty events happening in/around your area. It’s that simple! Check out a few of the events I saw listed…

On select dates in November and December Walgreens will be having their Sally Hansen event. Demonstrators will be showing their exciting new product – Insta Gel Strips.
Also if you’re into free samples, like me, you should head to the CVS L’Oreal event on December 1^st. Demonstrators will be giving out samples of L’Oreal Day/Night Cream and L’Oreal Day Lotion 30 SPF.
