MANICure Monday: Black Friday Edition

Whew! It’s December already and the countdown to Christmas and New Year’s is in full effect! Can you believe it?

Well, this week’s mani is inspired by Black Friday, which I’m aware was last week…better late than never, right? I had every intention of polishing my nails on Thanksgiving eve but totally lost all track of time. I ended up putting off until I just didn’t feel like doing it at all. *sigh* But despite my busted nails I did enjoy myself. I had an awesome Thanksgiving break! It’s always a good time when you spend it with family and friends.

It’s that time of the month again…if you’ve been following the blog for a while then you are quite familiar with the Free Beauty Events postings. I say it all the time, but it is truly one of my favorite things to post about. Just Another MANICure Monday: Didn’t Make the Cut

I hope y’all enjoyed your Mother’s Day weekend. I had a chance to visit my folks and my grandparents which is always a treat. Since I was out-of-town, I didn’t get a chance or even feel like doing anything extra special with my nails. I ended up rocking a pretty neutral nail polish…a little on the blah side and not really worth sharing in my opinion. So this weeks MANICure Monday post is going to be a little different. I’ve decided to share the mani’s that didn’t quite make the Just Another MANICure Monday list for whatever reason…

This is one of my favs and I’m not sure why I never posted it.

I’m finally a cool kid! I’m a Julep Maven! I’ve been dying to try out this monthly subscription service for some time now and I finally, well randomly signed up. Be on the look out for a full review next week.

Well of course I couldn’t wait to try out my new polishes…in fact I tested them all as soon as I opened my box. Yep, I’m like a kid at Christmas, lol. I ended up going with the pinkish, lavender shade, Simone. And of course I had to add a little extra. Check it out…
