Sheer Cover Review

Hey Savvy Readers,

I’m reviewing another product from the Influenster Spring Beauty Vox Box…the Sheer Cover Duo Concealer in Tan/Dark. This was my first time ever hearing about Sheer Cover. And when I saw the concealer inside the Vox Box the makeup junkie in me jumped for joy. I normally use concealer mainly to define my brows but I did recently experience a few breakouts which has caused me to use it in more areas. And I have been experimenting with using concealer to highlight my under eye area. Check out my pictures and review below…

Product Claims/Details: “Sheer Cover® Concealer is perfect for all skin types and tones.  Our concealer is a customer favorite offering a custom blend for the various shades on your face and covers up imperfections.  It not only covers up the look of dark circles, blemishes, redness and age spots, it also moisturizes with Jojoba and Allantoin. It instantly conceals blemishes, dark spots, hyperpigmentation and uneven skin tone – we’ve got life’s little imperfections covered!”

I used these brushes and my finger to apply the concealer.

Recommended Usage: “Using fingertips, concealer brush or a cosmetic sponge dab a small amount of concealer on area to be covered. Blend well. Start sheer, adding layers to increase coverage. Wear alone, under or over makeup. Let dry before applying makeup.”

Pricing/Availability: The Sheer Cover Concealer retails for $29.95 (non-member price) and $29.95 for the introductory system, which also includes the Duo Concealer. And you can purchase the concealer and/or introductory system online at www.SheerCover.com or over the phone (1-877-489-2035).

Pros: This concealer is creamy, goes on smooth and blends easily. And I like that it is a duo concealer…I was able to use both shades, one to highlight and the other to cover blemishes/scars.

Cons: The dark shade of the Sheer Cover Duo Concealer didn’t quite match my complexion but I have gotten darker over the past month or so. I think it will be a better fit for me during the winter months.

Final Verdict: I was really impressed with the Sheer Cover Duo Concealer. I would definitely recommend this concealer and would even consider purchasing it for myself.

Below is a picture of me with no makeup. My face is freshly washed and I only have on moisturizer.

BEFORE

This next picture is me after I used the Sheer Cover Duo Concealer in Tan/Dark to define my brows, highlight my under eye area and the conceal a few blemishes. I also filled in my brows, applied mascara and a little blush…which is my normal everyday makeup look.

AFTER

So if you are in the market for a good concealer I recommend that you check out Sheer Cover Duo Concealer. Like I said before this was my first time ever hearing about or trying Sheer Cover. And I must say that I am impressed. Have y’all ever heard of Sheer Cover Duo Concealer or ever tried any of their products? If you have I would love to know you thoughts about Sheer Cover. Until next time…

Thanks so much ma’am! And yes, please steal the hair style…its one of my go-to styles when my hair is a mess and I need something quick (which is often when you have kids).
